Protesters march in a protest in support of the European Union on March 25 2017 in Warsaw, Poland. The slogan of the protest, "I love you Europe" (Kocham Cie Europo) was organized on the 60th anniversary of the signing of the Treaty of Rome, which is one of the most important treaties within the history and make up of the European Union. Protesters called for freedom, development, and further integration into the European Union, rather than isolation. In recent weeks, Poland's Prime Minister questioned whether or not she would agree with the Treaty of Rome, and was prepared to walk away from it, if the declarations are not in Poland's interest, however on Saturday she signed the declaration. Earlier this month, Poland was the only country to openly vote against a fellow Pole, Donald Tusk, who was seeking re-election for the position of the President of the European Council during an EU summit. The open hostility of the current Polish government towards Mr. Tusk has been widely questioned and criticized by other EU heads of state. (Photo by Anna Ferensowicz/ Pacific Press)
