Thence the speciesranges north through southern California and east to westernArizona. A dried specimen found by Mr. Slevin on MejiaIsland, in the Gulf of California, seems to belong to thisspecies. In Arizona, it has been secured only in the Harqua HallaMountains in northwestern Maricopa County, but has beenseen also in the Harcuver Range in northeastern YumaCounty. In California, it has been collected in the ProvidenceMountains in the northeastern part of San BernardinoCounty, and in the Colorado Desert, San Diego County,Most of the records are from regions nearer to the coast,
