Remarkably stiff straw, growing four feet high with long, branching heads, filled with short, plump grains, resembling barley in size and shape. Bu. 75c; pk. 25c. BLACK RUSSIAN WINTER OATS—It is exceedingly prolific, 80 to 100 bushels per acre of measured oats. It is perfectly hardy and can be sown in the fall. The grain is plump and heavy, has stiff straw, enabling it to stand up well against severe" weather. Reports from it have always been favorable. Seed will be ready August 1st. Per pk. 25c; bu. 75c. PEDIGREED SEED CORN The current year will be one when seed corn will be at a premium. Owing to the great drouth in this section very little corn matured enough to make reliable seed corn and owing to the high price of corn for feeding purposes there will be a great demand for something early, so that it may be harvested for feed early in the coming autumn. We have taken special pains in securing good! varieties of early corn and have bought them far enough north so as to insure them being very early in this latitude.
