A flintlock double-barrelled shotgun, Coulange, NŒmes, circa 1790. Side-by-side smooth bore barrels in 16 mm calibre. Engraved trophy bundles with remnants of gold inlay on top of the chambers. The mid rib is inscribed, "CANON TORDU". Lightly engraved flintlocks (frizzen springs weak) and the lock plates signed, "COULANGE - A NISMES". Carved walnut half stock with chiselled iron furniture.
