The markets are loade'd with fancy tulips, Easter lilies, callas, val- ley, Romans and Paper Whites, with the demand rather slow in these. There is a scarcity in wild smilax, which is caused by the floods. Other greens are plentiful. Various Notes. Guy Reburn, of A. Henderson & Co., Chicago, spent last week in the city. Dave Geddes, floral artist at Fred H. Weber's, will take in the National Flower Show, at New York, looking for new things. The Ladies' Home Circle met at the residence of Mrs. Geo. B. Windier, March 26, though only a few braved the storm. The next meeting takes place at the home of Mrs. J, J. Beneke, April 9. The Brix Floral Co., on St. Louis avenue, reports a large increase of Easter business, in both plants and cut flowers. Business kept up all through the week after Easter.
