Rose-ringed parakeet
Rose-Ringed parakeet called so due to the red ring around its neck. They are sexually dimorphic with only the male containing the ring around its neck. These are very common birds found in Bharatpur. They are not shy and pose from a very close range. It is easy to obtain a frame-filling portrait of these birds using a 200mm lens. There are opportunities to even capture them feeding on berries.
