Summer as arrived as Swallows can be seen collecting insects on the wing over arable male as a longer fork in its tail and caught in good light the blue feathers are often seen in large flocks gliding over farmed fields in search of insects on the wing. By the end of September they will flock together for the journey to warmer climates and return April to May.
