Standard dress for men includes a turban wrapped to cover most of their face and serving to protect from the harsh winds and desert sun. In the background is the tent that these nomadic people sleep under. Traditionally the roof of the tent would be pieced together from leather animal hides, but this family in Ouagadougou, the capital of Burkina Faso, has made a roof of more modern materials.
