Cape Dwarf Chameleon, Bradypodion pumilum, are endemic to Cape Town and the coastal area east to Cape Agulhas. They are considered Near Threatened on the IUCN Redlist due to habitat degradation. Cape Flats Sand Fynbos is great habitat for them, although chameleons can also thrive in some urban yards with sufficient fine vegetation and insect prey.
