In Sebacina (Bourdotia) gloeocys- tidiata (Kuehner, 1926), caryogamy occurs in the young basidium followed by meiosis and the formation of the usual septa. The basidio- spores are uninucleate. Heterochaete Sanctae-Catharinae (Moller, 1895), in Brazil, appears on tree trunks as resupinate, very thin, gelatinous.
