( cm); Diam. of foot 5 1/8 in. (13 cm), Ceramics, The Tokugawa family crest, three of which appear on this striking dish, is rarely seen on porcelain from Arita, and never on Nabeshima ware. Besides the latter, Hirado ware was the only porcelain required to be presented regularly as gifts to the shogun
