Meakins & Sons of Hamilton, showedan extensive variety of brushes as wellas brooms and woodenware. They havebeen established since 1852. G. was in charge of the booth. Pratt & Lambert had some good pointsto feature about their varnishes, in dis-play and personal talks. H. M. Guiseyand H. Jurgensen attended to the latterpart. HARDWARE AND METAL. The latest addition to the permanent buildings of the National Exhibition. The McClary Mfg. Co., has a displayin charge of W. B. Sereaton. The usuallines of this firm were shown. The Gait Stove and Furnace Co., hassome good things to explain to visitorsabout their Banner lines. L. Mun-roe, their Western Ontario representa-tive and A. M. Edwards, president look-ed after the display. The Carborundum Co., of NiagaraFalls, , featured their carborundumabrasive material in a display in chargeof K. D. Rose and A. F. MacPherson. D. J. Barker & Co., of Picton, toldthe selling points of their stoves andranges in an exhibit superintended byEd. Cook. Burrow, Stewart & Milne, of Hamil-ton, was another firm exhibiting stovesand ranges, their display being in chargeof Ed. Goff. D. Moore & Co., was still anotherHamilton firm with stoves and ranges,the good points of which were explainedby J. W. Parish. The Canadian Heating and Ventilat-ing Co., had a booth in the Ind
