Funeral work is about the only business of any account at present. Car- nations are a drug on the market. Roses ftfe only fair and the demand for them il'meager. Centaureas, sweet peas and lil^kspurs are good sellers during the w4k^m weather. There was no extra bultness for July 4 and most of the floWer shops were closed all day. Various Notes. Ni F. The street fakers are selling sweet peas ^hd carnations at a low figure these dtys. Mark Aitken made a business trip to Bostdft, June 30. The letkding florists' stores will close at 5 p.
