Bowness-in-Windermere, Cumbria, 10th October 2015 The worlds last air worthy Avro Vulcan over Lake Windermere in Cumbria on the first day of the National Tour being made by the aircratf which is set to make its fina flight at the end of October. The aircraft which was used by the RAF initially as a strategic Bomber, during the Cold War and later in the Falklands Conflict was retired from service and has been flown as a memorial initially by the RAF and latterley by the Vulcn to the Skiy charity.
