Cpl. Ernesto Atilano and Spc. Farhanur Rahman, Headquarters and Headquarters Company, 11th Signal Brigade, reach for combat boots from their storage container while volunteering May 12, 2022, at Fort Hood, Texas, in preparation for the Memorial Remembrance Boot Display. This year marks the eighth annual display honoring those who gave the ultimate sacrifice. Each fallen Fort Hood service member is represented with a combat boot featuring the service member's name and photo, alongside an American flag.
