East Cowes Isle of Wight Thursday 2nd June 2016 A vigil has been held in East Cowes this evening (Thursday) following the tragic death of 6-year-old Keziah Flux-Edmonds and her 44-year-old father in a suspected murder suicide. PICTURED Charles and Brook Wade Over 100 members of the public gathered outside the family home on Cromwell Avenue at 19:00 to pay their respects following the death of the Queensgate Primary School pupil and her father, Darren Flux-Edmonds, yesterday. 2 dogs also died in the incident. Revd Allie, a local vicar, said a prayer for Keziah. The events of what happened within the walls of the family home remain unconfirmed, however it is claimed that the incident is a suspected murder suicide following the break down of Mr Flux-Edmonds’ relationship with his wife. ?Post-mortems are being carried out to establish the cause of death in both instances. Cards, flowers and cuddly toys have been left on the doorstep of the detached property by neighbours, friends and family. A teacher of Keziah – known to friends as Kezi – wrote a touching letter saying: “Dear Keziah, “I only knew you for a short time but in that time you made me smile and laugh a lot. “You were a beautiful, bright little girl and wherever you are I hope you are still happy and smiling. “RIP sweet girl”. One tribute reads: “A very special princess who has been taken way too soon. We will treasure every moment spent with you”. It is hoped that a garden can be built to create a place@UKNIP
