Prof. Yohanan Petrovsky-Shtern a Jewish historian, inspects remains of biblical inscriptions in Hebrew inside the restored Choral Synagogue which was perhaps the largest synagogue in eastern Galicia; built in mid 18th century. After World War II it was used as a furniture store and stood abandoned for many years. The city of Drohobych in Lviv Oblast, Ukraine.
