These large concrete blocks, all 2,771 of them, is the Holocaust Memorial in Berlin. It is to commemorate and remember the Jewish people who were murdered in the second world war. It is very popular and attracts many visitors and tourists each day. The blocks are laid out in a grid pattern and are of varying sizes. A very moving memorial to a terrible chapter of history.
