These photographs illustrate how severe a disease seborrhoea maybecome under service conditions. Most striking is the susceptibilityof the affected individual to secondary bacterial infections. Strepto-cocci and staphylococci appear to be invariably present, and a diph-theroid bacillus was found in five out of nineteen cases examined;morphologically it closely resembled the Klebs-Loeflier organism.
