BURQUE MAYOR OF THE CITY OF NASHUAAt the inau^ration exercises of the Sixty-Seventh City Government of the City of 1, 1920. Gentlemen of the Boakd of Aldermen : We have been chosen by the Citizens of Nashua to ad-minister the affairs of the City for the next two years. Ourposition is that of a Board of Directors, charged with theaffairs of the Corporation, for the benefit of the Stock-holders, the inhabitants of the City. In all our actions anddeliberations we must be animated by one motive only, thatof looking after the welfare of the Community. Personalambitions, feelings and prejudices must be set aside, andwe must approach our task and discharge our duties andobligations as servants of the public, with a broad mind,open to reason and conviction, ever mindful of our oath.
