ATLANTIC OCEAN (Jan. 22, 2020) An F/A-18F Super Hornet, assigned to Air Test and Evaluation Squadron (VX) 23, transits on USS Gerald R. Ford's (CVN 78) flight deck. Ford is currently conducting Aircraft Compatibility Testing to further test its Electromagnetic Aircraft Launch Systems (EMALS) and Advanced Arresting Gear (AAG).
