The open West Door of Saint Nicholas Church in the village of Steventon, Hampshire. The 18th century author Jane Austen would have used this door many times as her father was the vicar here and she lived with him and her family in the nearby rectory. Through the open door you can just make out the stained glass east window above the altar. Historic building, over 200 years old, viewed from public pavement.
