Cylinder dimensions are 4 x >■_■ in.,and the governed speed is 1200 ABennet air cleaner and carburetor arefitted and ignition is by a Splitdorf mag-neto with impulse starter. The entire transmis-sion is inclosed in a cast iron case and runs in an oilbath, and it is claimed that, owing to the fact that thechains are always well lubricated and protected fromdust, they do not wear and stretch. Timken roller bear-ings are used throughout the drive and on the front axleas well. The front axle is of the automobile type andcarries the frame on a semi-elliptic spring. The frameis built up of 4-in. steel channels. The belt pulley, whichis located in a convenient position ahead of the drivewheel, is 14 in. in diameter and has a 6 in. face. It isequipped with a separate clutch and can be run in eitherdirection. One of the features of equipment is a bucketseat similar to that furnished on the Uncle Sam machine is rated to pull two plows under all condi-tions and weighs 3000 lbs. I
