The Clavariesa (married woman) dresses the Obrera (single woman) with the typical mulch at the end of the parade during the offering to the Virgin. Ten years later Alfabega (basil) is meters in height, surpassing the mark registered in 2012 in the town of Betera (Valencia). After two years without festivities due to the Covid-19 pandemic, the tradition of August 15th returns, when the Majorals (organisers) in the town of Betera take to the streets to offer their basils to the Virgin Mary.
