Bullring, Birmingham, UK. 10th February 2018. Hundreds of people, including dozens of models, take part in a protest at the Bullring in Birmingham city centre. The demonstration was held to highlight the risk of Grid Girl jobs loses which organisers claim is a “harmless industry”. The protest follows recent announcements by F1 and the Professional Darts Corporation that grid girls and “walk-on girls” would cease to be seen at their events. The “quiet march” through the Bullring was organised by Birmingham-based driving experience company, Racewars GBR, and Essington-based model agency, Dream Street Models and Events. / Pictured: Models including Miss Birmingham (wearing red poloneck) take part in the protest at the Bullring.
