NAVAL STATION ROTA, Spain (October 17, 2014) – Cmdr. Charles Hampton, incoming USS Donald Cook (DDG 75) commanding officer, salutes the sideboys during a change of command ceremony, Oct. 17. Donald Cook is the first of four Arleigh Burke-class destroyers to be forward-deployed to Rota, Spain, as part of the President's European Phased Adaptive Approach (EPAA) to ballistic missile defense in Europe.
