So died this faithful servant of the church, on the 19th ofOctober, 1878, having nearly completed the seventy-seventh yearof his pilgrimage. His burial-place, in Greenfield cemetery,Hempstead, is marked by a granite monument. His widow resides in Hempstead, Long Island, with a mar-ried daughter. The two surviving sons are active members ofthe Presbyterian Church in a Western State. The other chil-dren, five in number, are in the better land. 21. LIX.
