Henry Charles "Alligator Boy" Coppinger, Jr. (1898-1975) with a captured alligator in the Miami River area of South Florida on January 28, 1921. Coppinger "invented" alligator wrestling and taught it to the Seminole Indians who made the ritual their own as an attraction for tourists in the early 20th century. (USA)
