A health worker prepares the Moderna anti Covid-19 vaccine during the mass vaccination at Red Cross medical vaccination started in Vulcano island under the guidance of Sicilia Region team, the Special Commissioner for Covid-19 Emergency for Messina Metropolitan Area (Ufficio Commissario Ad Acta per l’Emergenza Covid-19 per l’Area Metropolitana di Messina) and the Red Cross local team. Doses of Moderna and Johnson & Johnson vaccines were administered to residents in order to implement the “Covid-free islands” program for the summer.
