He was sentto the hospital at Bordeaux October 27, 1918, because of hemorrhage resultingfrom shell explosion which struck beside him, and in December, 1918, returnedto the United States, to Camp Merritt. He was discharged as sergeantEngineers, on January 22, 1919. WIENER, HOWARD CHARLES, entered the First Reserve OfficersTraining Camp at Fort Niagara, N.
