It is, however, quite a slow process to thoroughly "true" and "fix" these seedlings, and it being against the principles of our business to put any novelty on the market in an unfixed condition, we are offering only two varieties at present. The stocks of these we know to be absolutely fixed, true to color and type. After our crops are harvested we may be in a position to offer, in a limited way, several other winter- flowering novelties, particulars of which will be found in Burpee's Annual for 1916. FORDHOOK PINK^^rs^'aSftl? Fordhook Farms in 1909. The color is a beauti- ful shade of rose-piuk on white ground; the coloring deepening towards the edge of the standard and wings. The flowers are of largest size, exquisitely waved and usually produced in threes and fours oa long stems. Uasurpassed for cut flower trade. Awarded Certificate of Merit at the Spring Show of the Pennsyl- vania Horticultur&l Society, Philadelphia, March 23, 1915. In sealed packets containing twelve seeds each. The flowers are of largest size and usually borne in threes and fours on long, stiff stems.
