The Prize Taker grows always to a perfect globe shape, with bright, straw-colored skin, the necks are very small and the onions always ripen up hard. TMs variety is of medium size, wonderfully hard and solid, and most attractive for market. They are extremely early in ripening, and never make any stiff-necks or scallions.
