Schoen Place grain silo converted into office space. Pittsford NY USA.
The Grain Tower was originally built in 1939 out of concrete. With the exception of windows cut through the concrete, the outside remains relatively unchanged, reminding visitors and tenants that it was once filled with grain. The inside of the building has a modern feel, with state of the art office space. It features a glass elevator overlooking the village with access to each of the 9 stories. Each floor holds approximately 1,600 square feet of office space. Offices are unique and have curved walls. Everything from the carpet to the fixtures is brand new with plenty of windows and breathtaking views of the surrounding area. Each floor features a separately controlled HVAC system for convenient temperature control.
