Two-handled Jar, New Kingdom, Dynasty 18, early, ca. 1550–1458 , From Egypt, Upper Egypt, Thebes, Asasif, Courtyard CC 41, Pit 3, Burial B 4, Between head of coffin and wall, 1915–16, Pottery (marle clay), h. cm (6 15/16 in.); diam. cm (6 1/8 in.), This wheel-made jar with basket handles has decoration similar to that on a jug found in the same tomb. Both are made of marl clay, covered with a pale coating, burnished, and decorated in red and black paint
