Louis Joseph de Bourbon, 1736 – 1818. Prince of Condé from 1740 to his death. He was a member of the House of Bourbon and held the prestigious rank of Prince du Sang, meaning that he was part of a select group who could prove he was legitimately descended from a sovereign. After an etching by Francesco Bartolozzi from a work by Sophie de Tott.
