17/03/2012, London, UK: Pro-Assad protester, part of a small Pro-Assad rally of a hundred or so, outside the Syrian Embassy in London. The counter-demonstration is much smaller than the larger Anti-Assad demo just a few hundred metres away, behind police barricades.

Photography from protests outside the Syrian Embassy, Belgrave Square today in Central London. A march of a 1000 or more Anti-Assad protesters marched on the anniversary of the uprising from Paddington Green to the Embassy. Anti-Assad protesters were separated from a much smaller Pro-Assad group by barricades and police lines. Both rallies finished on time and dispersed peacefully.
