Trenches and sandbags are seen in the alleys of the park. Sakura blossomed in Kyoto Park in Kiev. Kyoto Park in Kyiv is a small Japanese island in the middle of the Ukrainian capital. It is the longest sakura alley in Ukraine, about a kilometre long, was planted, Sakura trees do not bloom for long - just two weeks from late April to early May. Kyoto Park was the site of Kyiv's defence line and there are numerous fortifications.
