Madrid, Spain: Madrid, Spain: Tourists pose with 'Menina' sculptures at Puerta del Sol. The busy public square in the heart of Madrid is the center of the radial network of Spanish roads and serves as the location of the regional government. The sculptures are part of the 'Meninas Madrid Gallery' in tribute to Velázquez's iconic Meninas. The project is organized by the Madrid City Council and led by the artist Antonio Azzato. The sculptures, ''Menina Gastronómica', are credited to los hermanos Torres.
