This citizen mobilization must bring to light the sad plight of Tibet in the public arena and we should take this opportunity to remind the Chinese President that the Chinese policy in force in Tibet, is a failure and against productive . The old policy recipe for carrot and stick is an anachronism when the time is the mutual recognition of peoples. We would like to emphasize two crucial points to the Chinese President , on the one hand , we completely disagree with the Chinese policy in Tibet and on the other hand , the resolution of the Tibet issue can only go through a political solution. Moreover, the Tibetan Community of France and Friends sent a letter to François Hollande, President of the French Republic , to ask him to raise the issue of Tibet with his Chinese counterpart as well as invite them to engage Sino -Tibetan talks .
