A copper of Caracalla shows a youthful figure, in military costume, carrying a sceptrein his left hand and with his right holding a phidle above an altar, garlanded and kindled,towards which leaps a boar beneath a fruitful fig (?)-tree with an eagle in its branches{Brit.
