Manresana tower, Prats de Rei. XI century.
The site Manresana is documented since 1012 and the castle is quoted in 1034. In the beginning it belonged to the family Balsareny and during the XIII-XIV family Pinos. Castle has been preserved only master tower that emerges from the remains of the old rooms. It has circular, with just over 7 meters in diameter and is divided into three departments. It was built with stones polished and well squared, medium size and well arranged in rows aligned. The door is semicircular and opens the level of the first floor. No window. By type of construction has been dated to the first half of the twelfth century. It was restored in the years 1980-82. Near the medieval Manresana are the tanks dug into the rock of Can Sala near the house of the same name.
