The Saltburn Cliff Railway is the oldest, working water balanced funicular tramway in Great Britain. Opened in 1884 it links the town of Saltburn to the only remaining pleasure pier on the North East Yorkshire Coast. The arcade on the pier has lots of games for all the family.
