Catalogue of Seeds and Plants. 37 GENERAL LIST OF HARDY SHRUBS, VINES, PLANTS, Etc. Seeds for Shipment April 15th to May 1st.——o Send in your orders as early as possible. We are pleased to note the increased interest taken in this line of plants. Nothing is more beautiful on the lawn or flower garden, and all that we list are of the easiest culture and perfectly hardy. Our stock of these is very large and complete, and we do not think is excelled by any house in the West. NEW WHITE DOUBLE ANEMONE. Whirlwind. A beautiful semi-double form of the autumn bloom- ing White Anemone. In habit the plant is like the old Anemone Ja- ponica Alba, the same strong growth and health foliage, and fully as free a bloomer. The flowers are two and one-half to three inches across, with several rows of large white petals; very durable, last- ing much longer than those of the single variety. One of the finest hardy plants for cemetery planting, and excellent for cut flowers. 20 cents each. APIOS TUBEROSA. A hardy tuberous-rooted climber, closely resembling the common Wistaria in vine and foliage, and having clusters of deep purple flowers, which have a strong violet fragrance. Plant the bulbs near a fence, trellis, tree or any place where you may wish a climber. 10 cents each; $ per dozen. ACHILLEA. The Pearl. A grand improvement on the old Achillea fl. pi. The flowers, which are borne in the greatest profusion the entire sum- mer on strong, erect stems; are of the purest white, somewhat re- sembling a Pompune Chrysanthemum. As a summer cut bloom it is a great acquisition. 15 cents each; per dozen. AMPELOPIS VEITCHII. A new and rapid growing climber of great beauty, especially for brick or stone houses or walls. Its foliage, which is lively green in summer, changes in autumn to brilliant
