Papagoite is a cyclosilicate mineral, chemical formula CaCuAlSi2O6(OH)3 It usually occurs as a secondary amorphous aggregate or coating along mobile fissures in granitic or granodioritic rocks, in various shades of blue that may be attractively bright. It is very rare, only found in Ajo, a location in Arizona, USA (sample here shown) with other occurrences in South Africa and Namibia
