The leaves are heart shaped, bright glossy green; growth is very rapid, reaching about 8 feet in height; quite hardy 10c each, $ doz. Put Dahlia tubers in the ground when the season becomes warm, covering the neck some three inches. After flowering, and before hard frosts, take up the plants, remove the tops, dry the bulbs a little, and put in the cellar until spring, when they can be divided and replanted.
