Santa Chelidonia (its name comes from the greek Chelidon: swallow) was an Italian nun and hermit saint. She died in 1152 and was buried in the Monastero di Santa Scolastica in Subiaco. Subiaco is a town in the province of Rome (Italy). It is renowned as tourist and religious resort for the Monastery of St. Benedict (Monastero di San Benedetto), and the other Monastery of St. Scholastica (Monastero di Santa Scolastica).
