The bride and groom are throwing rice cakes after holding a wedding at Yanabe Hachiman Shrine. This style has been come down to only some areas in Japan. The meanings are “sharing happiness” and “able to eat as much as possible”. This type of traditional wedding is held annually by the bride and groom who get married during the Autumn Festival of Gon at the Yanabe Hachiman Shrine.
