Quarantined Apollo 12 crew and families. Members of the Apollo 12 lunar landing mission's crew talking to their wives and children. The Mobile Quarantine Facility (MQF), with the crew inside, arrived at Ellington Air Force Base aboard a United States Air Force C-141 transport jet in the early hours of 29 November 1969. The crew are, from left to right: Charles 'Pete' Conrad, Richard F. Gordon, and Alan L. Bean. Their wives are, from left to right: Barbara Gordon, Jane Conrad and Sue Bean. The women are wearing Hawaiian leis. The crew members were taken to Hawaii from their Pacific Ocean recovery site aboard the USS Hornet, prime recovery vessel for the mission. Apollo 12 took place from 14-24 November 1969. It was the second manned mission to land on the Moon. Photographed on 29 November 1969.
