We have the best 27 varieties for market and home useadapted to our climate. These, if planted in July and August, produce a large crop the nextsummer. Being grown in pots they may be shipped to a distance and planted with almostno interruption to their growth. The plants may be set in beds of three rows one foot apartand one foot distant in the rows, with a space of t\vt> and one-half feet between the outside rowsof adjoining beds left for a pathway. They may also be planted in single rows three feet apartand one foot apart in the rows. All the varieties offered are perfect-flowering (bisexual) except where marked P.
