Mr. Quinn is aRepublican in politics, and in religion is a mem-ber of the Catholic Church at San Gabriel, theoldest church in the state. He is a man of finepersonality, interesting in his reminiscences ofthe pioneer days, and proud of the developmentwhich has taken place during the last fifty yearsin California.
